I am scouring the net ones again hoping to get more bargains and sales online. Black Friday Shopping

Geezzzz, i just envy my friends and relatives who are in the US for they can shop during the Black Friday Shopping. I was browsing the net and you tube today and even saw clips of people rushing up and lining up on stores like best Buy, Macy, Circuit City to get the best deals on items. I vene had the chance to see some items that will be on sale, like the HP notebook which will be only $350+ yay I want that.

Four Christmases

It's fun to watch movies during Christmas season as it adds up the fun and the jolly mood of people. Here's a new movie Four Christmases from Warner Bros., starring Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon which will be released today. It is a Romantic Comedy movie which is rated PG-13 for some sexual language and humor. It's been a while since I saw a Christmas themed movie so I think I will be waiting for this one to be shown here. Story:

Indian Actor making its way in Hollywood

You know how hard it is for Asian actors to penetrate Hollywood or US limelight but Lavrenti Lopes is making it’s way there as he plays one of the lead star in a Hollywood film SubHysteria which is going to be shown in theaters on April 2009. He also gained his popularity in the South Asian community in the US as well as being a commercial model for many products like Zip Car, Axe Deodorants, Microsoft and a lot more. Twilight Movie Showing in the Phils

The much awaited movie this month,Twilight Movie Showing in the Phils. was moved from Nov. 20 to Nov. 26, 2008. Premier night will be on the 25th at Greenbelt. So Twilight fans, scream on Wednesday when the movie is finally here. Gosh for sure my niece Micah will see this one and will read the book too.Heard on the news last night that the 1st showing day of Twilight in the US was a huge success.

Testing my new lens

Just got hold of my new 18-200 mm lens the other week but I only got few shots using it since I got not a lot of time to take photos since I am not going anywhere too. I am proud of that purchase along with my 2 Sandisk memory cards, a 1GB and 4 GB. I used it again yesterday with my niece Reign as my model. She was so eager to pose for the cam after I cut off her bangs. She wanted me to take photo of her with her new hair. I still have to use my lens more often so I can get use to it. My hands are kinda wobbly when I zoomed into 200 mm, the good thing is that my new lens has an Image stabilizer feature.

Shopping is Addictive?

I know many women will agree on me on this one bec. we love shopping as all men already know. I guess there are only quite a few woman who doesn't enjoy such. Just go to the malls every weekend and what else can you see? Women shopping with their men in tow lol. Men hate it actually, dunno why. Women tend to go to one store from another to see different shoe styles and all. We'll try to fit it one by one even if we are not buying. Why not?

When we buy something there's a different euphoria that we get out of it but you know what it is addictive. I have know some people who become restless when they don't go to the malls and buy anything even if they don't need it. Good thing is that they have money to splurge on their addictive hobby. Blame it also on the flashy digital signage of stores that are calling us to shop. lol. I reckon we still need to control ourselves from doing that or else we will go broke.

Can't Wait to Shop

November and December are really the busiest and the most, how should I say it, these are the months where I frequent the shopping malls and tiangges. Why not? November is my birthday month (just celebreated my bday last week) where I always reward myself for being "good' and hardworking the year long. Dec. as we all know is the time for gift giving. Anyway, I can't wait to shop again next week at Divisoria for I will buy lotsa gifts and of course goodies for myself. Want to come with me?

Are those weight loss supplement safe?

I am just a little bit worried because believe it or not there many obese people who are really struggling to loose weight. Some who are not too patient just take medicines without proper prescriptions by their doctors. They just overheard it from a friend and with their desire to keep their weight down, they will take it also not heeding the bad effects on them. I recommend reading reviews of such drugs like Fentraphen first or better yet consult your doctor before taking any. In this way, you are safe with some effects like renal disease and elevated blood pressure. If taken wrongly who knows it can also cause your lives. So be aware!

My New Crumpler Camera Bag

It's always fun shopping and I had a great time last Saturday together with my bestfriend Racel when we went at Greenhills. As you all know it's my bday last week and as a gift for myself this year, bought myself a new Canon 18-200mm IS lens that I bought at Henry's. I really have no intentions of buying a camera bag that day but when I saw this crumpler bag, I can't let it go and so I bought it after much thinking and scrutinizing the inside and out of the bag.

I fell in love with this Crumpler bag (most of my co- digiscrappers own this already) when I saw it at the shops. I bought this Dark Brown/Oatmeal/Light Olive color 6 Million Dollar Crumpler Camera Bag and it doesn't look like the old fashioned video/cam bag. I can use it and still look fashionable.

My New Canon EFS 18-200mm IS (image stabilizer) lens /f 3.5-5.6

It was my b-day yesterday (Nov. 16) and as a gift for myself I bought this new lens at HENRY's in Hidalgo, Quiapo (where i also bought my camera). I have been really saving for this Canon EFS 18-200mm IS (image stabilizer) lens /f 3.5-5.6. I am trying to haggle for the price but my charm didn't work haha, they said that price is like that which I agree. I am still testing this new lens and It's working fine with me.

My bestfriend Cel has been working in her company for many years now and have good work etiquette and just recently found herself too bored to continue working and doing the same thing everyday. She is a working mom and sometimes she feels guilty working overtime and i think she also has neglected herself now. I wish she will have her "me" time already as she deserves it. She already resigned from her work but her boss would not allow her to do so as she is a big asset to the company. I think they are working things out and if her resignation will push through I know she will be so happy with that.

Can anyone really lose weight in a blink of an eye?

I was watching TV last night and saw many commercials about products that can help loose weight. There's even one juice commercial that says it can help burn fats and it made me think.. Huh? With so many products online and offline being promoted, those that seriously need to loose weight are kinda confused which best fat burner is really the best. Pity are those that have weight problems but some are really desperate in finding the best possible solution that can help them slim down. I recommend eating healthy, exercise daily, have healthy lifestyle, consult your doctor and read reviews about products.

Got My New Eyeglasses!

If you could remember my old post about how I hate my eyeglass before, finally I got a new pair of eyeglasses last Sunday. Went at SM near our house after lunch but I really didn't plan of buying or have my eyes checked up that day . Went inside the Ideal Vision in and there are 50% off on all branded quality frames like Giordano, Tommy Hilfiger and more but the frames from Winchester brand suited my small face so I end up buying that. It was a good deal since I got it at half price, (fr. P3,600 to 1,800) and I only added P1,000 for the glass and the consultation is just for FREE since I ordered from them. The eye doctor that examined me was also very nice and listened to all my eye concerns.

All I wanted was an eyeglass that I can only use in front of my pc and just for reading so she had mine customized for that. Right now, I am using it already and I have no complaints so far and it is far more affordable than my old progressive glass that I had last year. I showed it to my niece and I was laughing bec. she said that I looked like a doctor. hahaha.

Can't Wait to Shop

Gosh I am really excited to go to Quaipo tomorrow bec. I am going to shop for my new lens that I have been dreaming and wanting for the long time. I know that it will cost a bit but what the heck I love it and that will be my bday gift for my self. I will be shopping alone and that makes me scared a bit since the place is known for pickpockets and all. I will just be extra careful and I will not wear something flashy so that I will not caught any attention.

Ahhhh one more sleep and i'm off to go shopping and a new lens will be mine. I will share photos once I got hold of it.

Hey all Christmas is really coming very fast and in a blink of an eye it's already upon us. I have already put our Christmas tree in the house last night adorned with our brand new decors and all. My niece got so excited when she saw it. I am going to prepare my Christmas shopping list in no time so I can budget my limited money.

My work asks me to be in front of my computer almost 12 hours a day form Mon. till Saturday and with so many years of doing that, my 20/20 vision started to deteriorate as I age and bec. of continuous exposure to eye strain. Exercise for A Healthy You

How many times have we heard that aside from getting rid of our vices and eating healthy foods, we also need to engage ourselves from doing exercise? I confess, lately I have not been doing my regular exercise in the morning which is playing the badminton. I dunno, since the rainy seasons started I just became lazy which is really too bad. I have a very sedentary lifestyle, sitting in front of my computer the whole day bec. of my work, exercise should keep me going.

I always wanted to get back in my exercise routine in the future as it makes me alive and keep my blood going. Have also considered getting a treadmill if my budget allows it. I should seriously do it bec. my varicose veins are hurting recently due to poor circulation. What about you what is your form of exercise?

Just another Shopping Day

Sorry for not updating this blog so much. Anyway, I had a very tiring Sunday bec. I went out to the mall with 2 of my teenage niece Kath and Kukay. I promised them that I will treat them after Undas so off we go to Robinson's galleria Sunday afternoon around 230 pm. It was so hot that day and I immediately got a headache upon riding the FX taxi. We parted ways when we reached the mall bec. Kukay will have hair cut at Bench Salon. I strolled down the mall but could not found a perfect shoes and blouse for myself so I followed my nieces at the salon. Afterwards, it took us about 10 million years to decide where to eat but finally I decided we're goin to eat at Yellow Cab but oh boy, their pizza is expensive hahaha. It's my 1st time to eat there actually but it tastes good.

We circled the mall again, trying to look for something to buy but end up just buying some toiletries and other stuff. Christmas is really too near bec. of the Christmas decors being sold at the mall now. I's fun to shop but my feet is burning bec. I wore the wrong shoes and with that 2 teens in tow, i could not keep up with their energy anymore hahaha. Yay, that is the sign I am really getting old already.
